FORT WORTH — American Airlines is offering Boston Market brand sandwiches and salads for sale to passengers on a limited number of flights. The offering will expand to include additional flights in the coming weeks.
Flyers traveling to and from Hawaii and from Chicago to Los Angeles or Miami will have the option of purchasing $10 meals that include Boston Market’s Chicken Carver, Beef Brisket or Italian sandwiches. Passengers on transcontinental flights will also be offered the sandwiches as of May 16 and additional routes will be added as of July 1.
Effective June 1, passengers will also be offered three different salad options that include chicken or ham. They will also be priced at $10.
The airline introduced its food-for-sale program four years ago and regularly updates and changes the offerings.
