GARDABAER, Iceland – Gerrit den Bok was named Managing Director of the Further Processing Industry Center effective May 1, Marel reported March 4.

He succeeds Bert Jan Hardenbol, who left the company in February. Gerrit den Bok has been with Marel for 23 years, which includes extensive experience as Manager of Service for the company's Poultry Industry Center. He will report directly to Theo Hoen, CEO of Marel.
