A growing number of meat and poultry processors are installing workstation dividers as an in-plant precaution.

Recommendations to the pork processor included reducing line speeds and implementing mass-communication methods.

The pork producer plans to reopen on April 24.

The Iowa pork processing facility will close this week and the company is making testing available to workers.

The plant is scheduled to reopen May 4.

The plants in Rochelle, Ill., and Alma, Kan., will close for 14 days.

A Seaboard Foods employee in Guymon, Okla., has also tested positive for COVID-19.

Processing at the facility has been closed since April 6.

Almost 600 employees from the plant have contracted the virus.

All the employees are at home in self-quarantine.
