EL SEGUNDO, Calif. – Beyond Meat is building out its marketing and communications teams. Stuart Kronauge is joining the company as chief marketing officer, joined by Marc Patrick, senior vice president of marketing, and Shira Zackai, vice president and head of communications.
Kronauge has more than 20 years of marketing and brand building experience at The Coca-Cola Co., most recently as president of sparkling brands. She’s held several key roles in the company’s North American business, including president of US operations, senior vice president of marketing, senior vice president of sparkling beverages, vice president of national customer marketing and vice president of the Walmart and Sam’s Club total beverage business.
Patrick joins Beyond Meat from Nike Inc., where held several positions across sport categories, including vice-president of global brand marketing for Nike golf, senior director of global brand marketing for specialty categories and senior director of global brand communications.
Zackai brings more than 15 years of experience leading public relations programs for both Fortune 500 companies and start-ups in the consumer product, food, technology and financial sectors. Most recently, she was senior vice president and head of media practice at New York-based public relations agency M Booth.
