Sunsweet® Ingredients are produced by Sunsweet Growers Inc., a grower-owned cooperative founded in the valleys of Northern California in 1917.  All of Sunsweet’s prunes are farmed, harvested, and processed using the proprietary technology and experience of Sunsweet Growers. Our ingredients, including powder, puree, dices, and concentrates, are made from the prunes we grow. These ingredients are naturally packed with sorbitol, antioxidants, and acidity, and can help with moisture binding, browning, and preventing warmed over flavor in a variety of meat and poultry products.
